1. What Thinnai is

Thinnai is software that helps community hosts run offline gatherings: publishing events, reviewing applications, collecting attendance at the door, and maintaining a record of who attended.

Thinnai does not organise events. Events are organised, priced and hosted by independent hosts. The host is responsible for the event itself — the venue, the format, the safety of the gathering and any refunds.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You confirm this at signup.

You are responsible for what you post and for how you behave at events you attend.

3. Accounts and identity

We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that mailbox secure — anyone with it can sign in as you.

You may hold one account. Creating additional accounts to evade a ban, a suspension or your attendance record is a breach of these terms.

4. Your attendance record

When a host scans you in, we record that you attended. Attendance records are permanent and cannot be edited by anyone, including the host and us, because the whole point of the record is that it can be trusted.

Your reliability tier is computed from these facts alone — never from anyone's opinion of you. Deleting your profile erases your personal data but does not erase or reset your attendance history.

5. Payments

Where an event is paid, in v1 you pay the host directly (usually by UPI) and the host marks you as paid. Thinnai does not hold or process your money and is not a party to that transaction. Refunds are the host's responsibility under their stated policy.

Host subscriptions to paid Thinnai plans are billed separately and are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Host obligations

Hosts must describe events honestly, state the venue and time before payment, honour their stated refund policy, and follow the Community Guidelines. We may suspend a group that does not.

7. What we may do

We may suspend or remove an account or a group that breaches these terms or the Community Guidelines, or where we believe someone's safety is at risk. Where we can, we tell you why.

8. Liability

Thinnai provides the software. We are not liable for what happens at an event, for a host's conduct, or for another attendee's conduct. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. When we publish a materially new version we will ask you to accept it the next time you sign in, and we record which version you accepted.
